Scoot 03-11-2007, 05:06 PM Hey guy's, how about this for and on-going sticky thread ?
With the regular season drawing to a close, let's keep track of the teams that are aiming at the Presidents trophy along with the Jennings trophy.
As we all know, the Presidents trophy winner will have home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs, I know that the Presidents winner can sometimes be the kiss of death, but seeing as that it would be the first time the Devils would win it, I think it would be an interesting thread.

Classic Devil 03-11-2007, 05:10 PM We're not going to win the President's. Besides, I'd rather win the Jennings.
bense27 03-11-2007, 05:15 PM I don't think we will win either. :dunno: Jennings is in reach though.
Easton 03-11-2007, 05:17 PM Well, I don't know about you guys but I'd like to win the Cup.:teach:
bense27 03-11-2007, 05:21 PM good call
crashlanding 03-11-2007, 05:28 PM You should put GP in the Jennings standings. That's pretty important when comparing those teams.

Good idea, I should have included Dallas in the standings.

Not for Dallas.

Thanks, I think it will be interesting, I also believe the Devils can win both.
Scoot 03-11-2007, 05:45 PM Not for Dallas.
I meant Dallas as in they have the least goals against.

I swear I read that you said that games played was already in the standings....

Yu did read that, but I edited my post because I didn't include Dallas in the President race and I didn't want to sound like a smart ass, my bad.
PS, Dallas is in a 3-3 tie with LA in the 3rd. So that puts the stars at 164 against.

Where do you guys find the tool to make tables?
Muttley 03-13-2007, 08:49 AM President trophy = Kiss of death. All you need is first in the East Conference.
Yep. That's something we here can live without, allthough we've been close a couple of times. The only teams I can remember winning both the President's & Cup were Detroit, Dallas & Colorado and I can't recall who else. We'll take #1 in the Conference, allthough we've been upset by the #8 as well. But when it you get it and win, it has it's benefits.
Fighter of Foo 03-13-2007, 12:25 PM Where do you guys find the tool to make tables?
the easiest way to see the code is to quote the message and just look at the formatting used. It's basically the "[table]" command, seperate columns w/ "|" and use a return for a new row
