Can you imagine a Roberto Luongo give away for everyone in attendance at Canucks games and how crazy that would be? According to the Coyotes board this is the second McFarlane promotion they had this season.

If they did have this giveaway, they (Canucks "promotion department") would end up only giving it away to the "suits in the Air Canada section" not to you or I in the "other seats".;)

We (people in the "cheap seats") end up with the mousepads or free ice cream (when the weather consists of freezing rain outside).

Does this mean that Cujo isn't going to be traded? Would be a pretty bad promotion if he gets shipped out before they get handed out.

I am not much of a collector of that kind of stuff but if they made a Luongo version making a fantastic save like that I would definately be inclined to purchase it if they sold it.

I know. They usually do a great job, but then they use this pose which I have never actually seen a goalie in. The mask looks ridiculous

The Canucks don't have to do promotions because they have a fan base and sell out every game.

It's not an action figure. Action figures are for kids. These are sports collectibles.:teach: Anyways, I don't think it looks bad and will pick it up to go with my naslund, linden and bertuzzi collectibles.

The Vancouver Giants are probably better at their giveaways than the Nucks, you always seem to leave with something there, which is pretty good considering their ticket prices

Ugh, the Luongo figure is one of the ugliest McFarlane's I've ever seen. Not only does the pose suck but the mask isn't even close to being right. How is that supposed to be a grizzly bear?! I'm a huge fan of McFarlane figures, they're fantastic and amazingly detailed but they could have done a better job with Luongo. :shakehead

On my trip to Vancouver, during one of the 3 Canucks games I went to, I jumped up out of my seat and caught one of the envelopes that fell from the whale - turned it in, got the new Tragically Hip CD.
(Plus, I filled out some credit card applications for a free Canucks blanket and a Canucks t-shirt - I love that blanket, I use it almost every Canucks game I watch)

At Ottawa Sens games they give away posters of the likes of Heatly, Alfredsson, and Kelly. I hate the Sens so the posters are useless to me...except for starting fires in the fire place.

I might be wrong here... but isn't Todd Mcfarlane connected to the Phoenix organization? like he owns a part of it... something like that.
