Will Montreal be able to fly in to Jersey in time for the game?

This may just end up being like the Blizzard game.

This may just end up being like the Blizzard game.I forgot all about Montreal's ability to get into New Jersey. They probably flew down last night after their hom game against Florida, if the weather allowed.

I hope so. No offense. Then I could complain to President McCormick at RU.

"They shut down a Devils game because of the weather but you can't even delay classes in the morning!?!?"

Here in Chicago I'm trudging through 8-12 inches of snow to get to class on time at 8:00 in the morning. I wish they'd cancel class.

Exactly- you want bad go look at NY STATE with 12 feet over the last 9 days..people here are just "sallies"...Give me a break - it's an inch of snow and some sleet..People in other cities face this kind of weather 20-30 % of all their games...It's supposed to stop by late afternoon anyway...I say we institute a "fine" for anyone who backs out for less than 6 inches of snow..Go to the game and stop whining!

And Happy Valentines Day you sissies..

:biglaugh: yeah, I got up an extra hour earlier for nothing this morning and the roads were salted & clear, but were all empty! And last night before it even started snowing, they had all the school closings scrolling accross the news crawl during the 10:00 news. Besides, I don't, but, doesn't everyone have an SUV??? Or some kind of 4WD?

You know, I used to hate it before the Internet back in the early 1990's, when I would drive 5 mph in blinding snow, and take the time & effort to make it all the way to school, park 5 miles away from class, slip & slide my way across campus, only to find out when you get there that there's a note hanging on the door saying your professor can't make it due to the weather.

But the good thing was that they used to have bars & alcohol on campus to kill of the 90 minutes. :D

And no, not everyone has an SUV. Also, have you ever noticed how many accidents involve SUV's when it's snowing? They think they're all tough because they have 4WD, and they're in the ditches! It actually makes me laugh.

Look, I'm going to the game and I live in Sussex County, where it's still snowing and the roads are bad.

Suck it up and go to the game people...what a bunch of sissies!!

That's what Maryland is getting and they canceled classes, although it's more of the freezing variety. Plus some snow flurries but it wouldn't be enough to close down school on New Jersey.

For the first time in 6 days, then sun is actually out here. From about Thursday to mid-Tuesday, it was almost snowing non-stop here. Not that snow in Calgary is uncommon or anything like that, but it just seemed like it was never going to stop! Nothing ever shuts down here, but it should....Drivers here are bad enough as it is, with snow, it's a nightmare out there....Looks like a good chunk of North America is getting hammered by this snowstorm

It's always funny when anywhere south of the Mason Dixon line gets snow. **** shuts down for a week or longer in a place like Georgia when they get an inch.

Look at Texas! Now THAT was hysterical! :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
