Jason Wiemer

I'm a little surprised that Jason never gets mentioned the same way Matvichuk does in regards to playing this season and the cap issues it would involve. I guess its a safe bet that he's not coming off IR this season. What is his contract status for next season?

UFA. I would like to see him for the playoffs though

Wiemer-Dowd-Marshall as our fourth line would be sweet ass sweet.

I think his injury is career-threatening. It was a ligament knee injury.

I'd rather have him over Rass in the lineup. At least he throws his body around like he's supposed to.

I dunno, Wiemer did not look that slow in the playoffs last year. I really liked his laser wrist shot goal against Carolina. Oh well, we're going to have some interesting decisions to make.
