To keep things interesting Langenbrunner and Brian Gionta create a little contest for themselves. They each try and hit the net from far away, with the loser paying the other.

"I think I lost a little money today. Things like that keep it from getting monotonous. It also keeps us focused on hitting the net."

It's true. I joined them during my trip to NJ and I almost sat in Patrik Elias seat by accident and Colin abruptly told me not to sit there. They sit in the same seats, eat the same meal, and order the same drink every game day. It's pretty cool.
