Maybe Lou was right when he said this was one of the best teams he's put together.
And yet, you still get people who insist that the Devils are not one of the 5 or 6 best teams this season.

we now have the 4th most points in the league with a game in hand on the three teams ahead of us (nashville, buffalo, detroit)

When you are nearly last in the league in scoring those are the type of responses you get. If these 3 issues were worked out you would hear much better reactions, even from the haters.

We dropped to 8th from last week's 7th position because "the Devils netminder got lit up in the first two games of the week, when the Devils surrendered 76 shots combined in Atlanta and Philadelphia."
They had better move us back up next week. Why Calgary and Ottawa are ahead of us, is simply because they are Canadian teams.

I keep hearing this.. and I have yet to see proof considering I watch the channel and visit the site daily. Try backing it up before you start sounding like the morons who say that the Devils are boring without ever actually watching their games.
Besides, the power rankings are handled by 1 person who supposedly uses a formula for his dumbass ranking order. I think the guy is an idiot myself, but I won't blame the whole network for it. I also should mention that for a guy with no respect for the Devils, he sure thinks highly of Marty putting him #1.
Blah, im in a rotten mood today.. I should just let it go.

More importantly, the team grades intend to take into account which players are in the lineup to replace those who are out due to injury or suspension and aim to reflect which team would win a seven-game series on a neutral rink.
