(Yet Another) Goal Song Thread

Yea Yea, I know. Sorry :( But...

I had my IPOD on shuffle the other day and it came to me like a vision...

Catch 22 "12341234"

I know "Ole!" is what we got, and I'm ok with that, but I think this song would be perfect for the following reasons.

1) The band is from Jersey
2) It's original in that I'm fairly certain no other teams use it
3) It rocks :teach:

If you aren't familar with the song just d/l it you'll know the part I'm talking about.

I know most of us are still kinda lukewarm towards Ole... what do you think?:dunno:

Hmmm, not bad.

But "Ole" is a tough competitor... all the fans at games love it...

But this song can give it a run for its money.

I like the crowd singing in the background but I hate that type of music.

kinda sounds like Bro Hymn by Pennywise...thats a good goal song.

I'm sure you can get someone to "cover" the song and just do the 12341234 woooooooooooah parts.

It would be better than Ole and the song is by a much better band, in my opinion (well, when Tomas was in it...).

I hate that Ole song.. but I really like Bro Hymn for a goal song though.
It could always be worse, they play Cotton Eye Joe in Vancouver.

I'd rather just have a song than one where we sing just like the Rangers.

The chorus part isn't bad, but ewwww ska.

Never thought there would be mention of punk or ska music on this board. I like both bands but don't think they would work for the goal song. I say go back to the original song used and get rid of Ole.
