This ones a toss up for tonights game.

If we win, and the Thrashers lose, we would be up 6 points with 2 less games played?

I am inclined to cheer for Buffalo.

But anything but overtime will work for me.

Agree with anything but a 3 point game.

It's available on Yahoo tonight.

I'm cheering for Atlanta. If we keep winning, we can keep/increase our distance between us and Atlanta, but in order for us to catch Buffalo we need them to lose.

But really, as long as it doesn't go to OT I don't mind that much.

Thus what's wrong with the system. If there is a three team race the 3 point game screws with the team not involved in the game. At least with a 3-2-1 system they split the points if it goes into OT. The team not playing doesn't get screwed as rach game rewards the same amount of points.

Atlanta, you always want the team ahead of you to lose so you can catch them as long as you win the team behind you can't catch you

Even if Atlanta does tie us in points, we'd still have the advantage with games played and wins.

Well we gained on Atlanta and kept Buffalo 4 ahead. Can't complain about that. The only better possibility would have been if Buffalo won in regulation

In hockey, this is what we call a "jinx." :sarcasm:
