Lecavalier fight

Hi, I'm not a Lightning fan, but I'm a huge Vinny fan, and I was looking though some scoresheets when I saw Lecavalier and Chara get fighting majors. So, what happened during the fight?

Chara cross-checked Lecavalier in front of the net, Lecavalier got his stick up on Chara, they started to go. Nothing much of a fight, except the linesman held Chara’s arm back and Lecavalier got a punch in because of it. I’ll give Vinny credit though. Most superstars don’t fight, especially not a guy whose 6’9”, but he showed no fear.

True, but that wasn't the brightest thing I've ever seen him do! Don't think Vinny had much of a chance there. :)

While I would give Lecavalier credit for standing up for himself the way he did, he was also very lucky that

1) the refs stepped in to protect him and as a result
2) Chara didn't beat the living daylights out of him

I had to tape the game to watch it, so I watched a few times, and Chara landed a few while Lecavalier landed one. Chara even rolled his eyes as the refs held them apart.

Brave but stupid. TB can't afford to lose VL at this point because TB can't buy a win these days.

Not too bright on VL's part, but he was standing up for Lukowich as well after Chara crushed him behind the net. He looks extremely frustrated. Too bad Ference doesn't play for Ottawa, Vinny always enjoyed beating his monkey ass when he was with the 'turds.
