Hey guys,

New to registering, but not new to reading and definitely not new to the game of hockey. My question is, is Pronger's absence that glaring on the Ducks right now?

I know the Ducks are in a bit of a tail spin, which is reasonable considering their unreal season. But this tail spin is very consistent with big Prongs injury....so is this directly correlated with #25 injury?

Jiggy + Pronger. I think if we had one of them back right now, there would be a significant difference. The biggest problem with Pronger's absence is we have way too many inexperienced defensemen out there right now playing way too many minutes. Even getting Beauchemin back should make a huge difference because he's used to those minutes and has done fine with them in the past. Basically, when you lose your #1 goalie and 2 defensemen that log nearly 30 minutes a game, it's not going to be easy to play at the same level as you would with them.

Jiggy + Pronger.

+ Beachemin. His injury is big too because he logs about the same number of minutes as Pronger and Niedermayer.
