Travis Green on waivers

The Ducks placed forward Travis Green on waivers Tuesday. In seven games played this season, Green's put up one goal and one assist. - TSN

Is this because Marchant is back? But doesn't that leave us with Parros as only Scratch?

I think that's what Aeryn wanted to say...Brent was here for Marchant, so he was sent down when Marchant came back. But why do we get rid of Green? Salary Issue? Konopka coming up?

Maybe this is a precursor to a trade that would take on salary. Just a thought.

I think Burke is comfortable with our depth at center (Brent, Konopka) so he decided to free up a little cap space going into the trade deadline just in case.
