Five other Coyotes got in on the action as well.

Duck related only in that they're divisional rivals, but holy cripes!

Sharks fans are spazzing and looking for heads to roll. I didn't think things were that dire over there.

To be fair, heads rolled in the Sharks forum after we had our first loss of the season. But now, it's serious.

Maybe tonight kicks off JR's campaign to be the "Teemu Selanne for 2006-2007".

8-0? WOW! What a blowout.   :D :biglaugh:

The Yotes have been playing better as of late. I am happy for them. :)

I think old guys (JR, Cujo) proved something. That they can still play, not every game but some games. Cujo was amazing. I mean i looked the stats and he stoped 40 shots. At least we can say that sharks tried :sarcasm:

The Sharks actually outplayed the Coyotes in the 1st ... but as they did in the playoffs last year, when things don't go their way they roll over. The more I see of them, the less I worry about them. Sure they have talent, but where's the character?

Coming from a team that pitched an 0-2 shutout in Phoenix last week...it's amazing to see this type of post! A loss is a loss at the end of the day. The beauty of it is, is that SJ hopped on a jet for Dallas and they get to skate tonight.

I attended this debacle.

The Sharks played fantastic hockey up front in the first. CuJo made some fabulous saves. In back, Nabokov was crap. So was MacLaren. Being down 0-3 and outshooting the Coyotes 19-6 was insane.

The complexion of the game changed in the 2nd when Oleg Saprykin elbowed Joe Thornton in the boards. From ten feet away from where I was seated. It was a freakin' joke that the refs did not see it.

What upset me more was that Thornton had to find him later to take care of business. He did, leveling Saprykin to the ice, where he laid motionless for a good minute. Where were the Sharks players to get this guy sooner?

I am not happy with my team.

Don't worry about SJ at this moment. We need a shake-up NOW or we are pretenders.

Except that it isn't, really. The Ducks get up for the games that matter. I think that pattern's been pretty apparent all season. There's a notable difference in how they played Phoenix and Carolina vs. how they played Dallas, Calgary and San Jose. And while anything's possible, I just couldn't see them quitting to the tune of 8-0.

I agree with you about getting back on the horse right away against Dallas. Always better when you don't have time to think about the previous loss.

And I hope the Sharks do recover. I was very much looking forward to the Ducks and Sharks owning the rest of the league and meeting in the conference finals. I hope your boys get things sorted out and get back on track. I imagine they will. Too much talent to collapse.

Too much talent to collapse.

Talent isn't everything. There have been plenty of marvelously talented teams that failed miserably when they weren't willing to do anything other than rely on talent alone. Otherwise, the Rangers wouldn't have gone most of the last decade missing the playoffs with a star-laden roster.

Hey, its your fans jumping off bridges, no one here is making any big conclusions...like it or not, it is an unlikely, notable loss inside the division.

Ron Wilson's fault for scratching Scott Parker, Ryane Clowe, and Rob Davison.

I actually laughed out loud when I saw the score roll by. Made me feel better about our own crappy loss to that team. Am I a small person? Yeah. But we all have to get our kicks where we can find them.

So hahaha. The Yotes dropped a snowman on you, Shark fans. Eat that!
