Brodeur is currently ranked second in the Eastern Conference in voting for goaltender to Ryan Miller. While Miller has had a good season, Brodeur has had a much better year. Here is where Marty ranks in the Conference and league in the major goaltending statistics:

Wins|22|1st|2nd
Shutouts|6|1st|1st
GAA|2.11|1st|2nd

GP|36|1st|2nd|
TOI|2,160:29|1st|1st
Shots Attempted|1,007|1st|1st

As far as I am concerned Brodeur should win the Hart. He has singlehandedly put the Devils in first place. Anyone who watches this team regularly can see that this is easily his best year yet. And that is saying something.

Welcome to the board...indeed Marty has held this team together this year more than ever. He deserves Hart consideration this year - it would be absolutely criminal for him not to get votes for that.

He just moved into the lead for Vezina, and entered the Hart Top 5 for the first time this season (At least from ESPN's point of view)

I voted for Marty earlier today for the All Star ballot and I hope he gets it. I know I'll be echoing what you guys said, but Marty really has helped the Devils get to where they are now. I'm new here as well (while I did join in October, I didn't get around to posting till recently) and have been a Devils fan for quite a while, I hope Marty gets in!

Marty was the only current Devil I voted for, since he is most deserving. I did vote for a few ex-Devils who are having success: Souray, Niedermayer, Sullivan, and Rolston.

Only three days remaining to vote. Voting closes at 9 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, which would be midnight here in the Eastern Timezone for many of us. The NHL allows the fans to vote multiple times, so vote for Marty again if you have the time. Brodeur really deserves to start.
