Tim Brent Named to Canada’s Spengler Cup Team

I don’t think Tim Brent would mind.

Hockey Canada announced on Sunday that Portland Pirates’ forward Tim Brent was added to Team Canada’s Spengler Cup roster.

I can't say enough about Tim Brent!!! He will be a huge asset to the team. He is a fan favorite here in Portland and will be missed by all during the Spangler Cup. I hope I can get through the three games he will miss.

Canada won the first game vs. Mora/Sweden 4-3 (SO)

Brent was pretty much invisible during the game...2 PIM, 1 good play behind the opponents goal, that's it...

Canada beat HC Davos 6-3....They are now in first at 2-0.

Brent wasn't flashy, but played well I thought.

Yep. exactly...played much better than in the first game. By the way, Hiller is in goal for Davos, he was mentioned as a candidate for the Ducks system next year.
