Unthinkable

Anyone else totally impressed with her passion, dedication, and overall enthusiasm towards the sport of hockey? I read through one of her columns the other day for the first time and it was one of those pieces leaving you wanting more like a great movie. Couldn't help but reflect on a lot of her insights and personalized comedic touches for quite awhile afterwards. The NHL as a whole could really benefit from more hockey writers with her boldness and stylistic edge. She's kind of a female John Buccigross with all the humor, elegance, and poise you could ever desire. Its rare to read hockey articles where you laugh out loud with the kinds of pop culture references she likes to interject with such frequency. I'd love to see her with a microphone doing interviews with players in addition to calling games. Anyone know if she's related to Alan Eagleson?

Her last article is here for those curious about her work:

She's a terrific find imho. Very inspiring writer. One of my favorite hockey articles to read this season.

She's a friend of mine and as a beat writer for HF I agree she's a step above most of us although there are two or three beat writers that are exceptional. And yes, she is Alan Eagleson's third cousin.
