Does Belarus have any more whiz-kids to look out for at the WJCs?

Is Valach playing a prominent role on the Slovakian team? Does he get many powerplay minutes or is he more of a depth defender?

What was Sergei Kostitsyn doing? He should've been dominating.

Here are his stats, he also had decent u-18's last year. He's a late 89', I think his draft year is 09' if he keeps it up, he could be drafted in the first 5 rounds (or be drafted by an ohl team in the import draft). He also has decent size.

maybe the habs could steal another dominant belarussian to add to the already impressive list of grabovsky and the kostitsyns

so stefanovich isnt eligible until next year?

He's eligible in '08. And I don't think the Habs will have the opportunity to stole him in a late round because he is considered to be a top prospect in 2008 and a potential first rounder (like Andrei Kostitsyn was in 2003).

He played with his stick upside down to allow the Slovaks some confidence. It was more practice than game today.
