I think it would be a nice change

I like it and I want the division names back - Patrick, Adams, Norris and Smythe.

Which Southern team goes with Pittsburgh to the NE?

Washington? Doubt the NHL wants Ovechkin and Crosby in the same division, although some speculate that Detroit or Columbus will move to the Eastern Conference if the Penguins relocate.

TB, FLA, and ATL are too far South for travel considerations.

Leaving Carolina to go back to the Adams?:dunno:

This is supposed to reduce travel? Because Time Zones have not been affected.

I'm not really sure about this. It sounds logical to realign the teams according to their time zone, but I'm just sick of all these proposals.
