I think there was something about him in the Lowell Devils thread at the top of the Devils board. Something to the extent of his being assigned to Lowell, but not actually being with the team due to injury. Lou took a chance on this guy but it looks like it definitly won't work.

If he got injured, what is his injury? Is he out for the year??

It was time to pull the plug on the failed Foster experiment 2 seasons ago. As fans, we really need to move on from any false hopes that he will suddenly turn into a bonafied NHL gamebreaker at this point. His 15 minutes of fame never came and likely never will. Most overrated Devils prospect since Berglund and Ahonen.

He slipped on a banana peel and threw his back out, then he ruptured his spleen bending over tying his skates. What difference does it make? He's made of glass and he's played about 150 games total in the past 9 years. At this point it doesn't matter if he was the best tiddlywinks player on his block when he was 7 or whatever non-sense people want to spout about him being more talented than Dany Heatley when he was 16. He's lost too much development time to injury, forget about him.

Hm, check that out. Adrian Foster however, HAS worn #8, which is now worn by Andy Greene. Maybe he retired from hockey? He played all of 8 games last year.

If I recall when he was drafted, he was already damaged goods as a result of some kind of recurring abdominal injury. Lou took a chance on him becasue at the time the Devils & Albany had a lot of depth and I guess he thought it was worth taking a chance.

Is he related to Carl Pavano? :)
