Today I was at the game with a friend. We watched the warmup from behind the net, he wanted to stay in the lower bowl rather than go up to our seats in 241. Not being sure what CAA security would do if they caught us, I decided not to. My question is, what do they do if they catch you sitting there? Do they throw you out or just tell you to sit in the regular seats? And does anyone have suggestions on where to sit if we decided to stay there.

There are so many empty seats in the lower bowl most games, especially behind the net and in the corners, that you could stay down there pretty easily, even if you end up in someones seat as they arrive.
Only avoid the center ice sections -- which are long time season tix folks -- as they are monitored by a few extra security folks at ice level, as you are close to the benches or penalty boxes (i.e. the players), and there are far fewer seats to slide into when the real folks arrive and many of the regulars know each other. And they tend to check much more often at the top of the aisles getting in and out of those sections.
The security is different individual by individual, some sticklers, others not...but unless you are creating other problems I can't imagine them kicking anyone out if caught (just telling you to go to your real seats, if anything...but you could try a few sections over...again and again...)

I don't get it. If you try to buy Center Ice seats in the lower bowl, none are available, yet every game HUNDREDS of these seats are empty.
So are these Center Ice seats in the lower bowl owned by corporations or people that just don't care unless it is against the Rangers or Playoffs?
C'mon share the wealth! Pass em out.

don't think there are to many corporates but I'd have to say yes regarding people who don't care. I also have a co-worker who has 4 front row seats on the glass behind Brodeur's cage - thing is he's a Rangers fan. When the Rangers threated to move to the arena in 1980 he put his name on the season ticket list, the Rangers stayed in MSG and the Devils came in 1982 and desperate for new fans they honored his ticket request. So he sells them for almost all the games - and if not they are empty. So sad.
