Mikhail Yabukov has been recalled from Norfolk.


I guess its not that bad though. Might as well try it. We need a shakeup BAD.

why not? his game is more well rounded than Ruutu. back-checking is decent, gets the puck on the net, willing to get physical... only 1 game, but still, I liked what I saw. Oh, and good hands... very sweet deflection on Radulov's shot. The two played well together.

It's still early, but it should come as no surprise that the rookies who've spent time in Norfolk (Radulov, Yakubov) seem to be more NHL ready than those who haven't (Ruutu, Vorobiev).
