The Toronto St. Michael’s Majors announced on Tuesday that defenceman Dale Good has signed with the team. The third round pick in the 2000 OHL Priority Selection (42nd overall) had been a member of the Clarkson University Men’s Hockey Team.
Good, a 6’3”, 200 lb. 19 year-old, played for the York Simcoe Express Bantams during the 1999-2000 campaign prior to being drafted by the Majors. The native of Holland Landing, Ontario spent the next two seasons with the Junior A Newmarket Hurricanes. Last season, his first at Clarkson, he participated in 31 games and registered 5 points and 55 penalty minutes. So far this season, he had recorded no points and 10 penalty minutes in 6 games.
The Majors next home action takes place on Thursday, November 27th when the Guelph Storm visit the St. Michael’s College School Arena for a 7:30 pm start. This contest marks the return of former Majors’ defenceman Kevin Klein and forward Kyle Spurr, as well as the debut of Good. It can be heard live on www.stmichaelsmajors.com.
