Probably not but I'm sure you could sneak down to some closer seats if you're already in the lower level, right?

Yes you can. We have friends that do it all the time. Its harder during the Ranger or Flyer games but not out of the question. I tend just to move around the upper decks.

how hard would it be to get to the lower level from the upper level?

Just arrive really early to the game, while practice is still going on. Tell the usher that you just want to watch the practice. And just don't leave.

Section 115 (right behind the visitor's goal) is never more than half filled for a normal game.

Well, I must have bad luck. I've tried that 4 times over the last four years and not one usher would let me go downstairs for pregame skate without a ticket for the lower level.

Are you serious? I've done that at Caps and Devils games without a problem (though I always go back up for the game - the crowd is better up there!). If at first you don't succeed, try a different usher.

look for an italian usher in his early 40's, or a black dude in his late 20's. They'll let you do whatever you want, as long as their bosses aren't around. NEVER TRY THIS WITH WOMEN USHERS. Trust me on this.

I'm not a Devils fans but I go to many of their games and usually at times I get denied going down to the lower lever during pregame skate, but it all depends on who is guarding the section. About sneaking down to the lower level, don't know as I actually like sitting in the upper level believe it or not

Whoa, whoa, whoa, this is just bad advise. A handy can go a long way, my friend. No need to give it all up. At least not before trying get away with just a handy.

I've never had a problem in the 100+ games I've seen at the Swamp over the years. And I'm usually in a Rangers jersey.
