Not often. When I think about it... the only other one that I heard of was Boris Valabik. He had one last year when he was with the Kitchener Rangers. He was the first European import player to wear an "A" on his jersey for them. Sounds much different than the New York Rangers, eh? Other than him, Kostitsyn was the first new European that I heard of getting a letter. I think it may be because the import players don't stay long because they have obligations to NHL teams who have drafted them. Lukko4 11-05-2006, 10:34 PM Not often. Off the top of my head, Edo Terglav from Slovenia was the captain of the Montreal Rocket, Petr Vrana was the captain of the Halifax Mooseheads.....and this year I know Tomas Svoboda had the A for a few Drummondville games. I know there are quite a few more, but yeah it is rare. zoranr 12-10-2006, 07:53 AM Marcel Rodman wore the 'A' for Peterborough in 2000-01. | ||
