Let me guess, you follow West Island and Lac St Louis minor hockey :)

Bernard - he doesnt turn 17 until december, and Patrick Roy seems to be fairly high on him. My guess would be that he develops into a nice goalie. After all Roy is his goalie coach.

Vlasic - doesnt play every game for Quebec. He played in Halifax last week and he looked good. He has good size, and always makes the safe play.

Gragnani - PEI got a steal, he is playing every game, and playing a lot considering his age. Chipping in some offense too.

Lomanno - He has showed flashes, but he is having trouble playing defense. He isnt big, or strong, or quick...so his defensive coverage needs a lot of work. A project for the Halifax coaching staff.

Augustine - was a healthy scratch for 3 straight games, had a good game last night though. When he plays, he seems to play well, but he doesnt get out there much. Hre needs to work on stick handling and skating.

Moore - i love this kid. He works his butt off every shift and he is quickly getting more and more icetime for Halifax. He will be a very good checking forward next year when Halifax will be loading up. He plays over half the PK and he is only 17.

MA Cote - from what ive heard from BAT fans they are really impressed with him. Plays good at both ends, tries his hardest and with his natural ability he is able to score, as evidence by his 3g 9a.

Phil Cote - Played ME last year for the Tigers, was the last underage pick, and i highly doubt BaC expected him to make the team. He is turning heads.

Where do you get that idea :D

I'm surprised about Lomano, i was sure he would be a very solid player for the Moosehead this year.

What you're saying about Phil Côté is intriguing, when you're talking about turning heads, is he really playing that good?

I was under the impressions that BC kept him mostly because they didn't want him to lose his year with the Lions at MAAA

I too, like Ryan Moore and the agressivity he brings to the game.

Lomanno just seems to be real low on confidence right now. Not sure how come. He had an amazing pre-season. He is a -15 after 20 games with 2 assists. He is 17 and had a point per game with the Lions last year so i was expecting more from him.

Moore however makes up for it. God only knows how he lasted until round 9. He is fearless and everyone here loves him.

One qiestion, do you have any clue where Lee Schachter is playing? He was picked 1st overall in the JR AAA draft but isnt playing with them. I had heard he intended on going to the NCAA, hense him not playing for Halifax this season.

Lomano started to play better last year when is coach gave him some slack and let him be an offensive threat. I don't know the way he's coach presently, but if they let him be an offensive player, he'll do just find....

About Schachter, i really don't know where he is. Some people told me he's somewhere in Texas, all i know is that he's not playing any hockey in the Lac-St-Louis region this fall.

MacKenzie isnt too keen on letting defensmen run wild offensivly. Sharrow last year was bendhced almost every game because he wasnt concentrating on defense.

Lomanno is a project and hopefully he can improve by next year because we will need him to be a #4 dman or else we will have to trade for one.

By the way, Lomanno had a really good game last night. Didnt get any points but ge played a lot in a tied game. He was a +2.

They also interviewed him on the radio after and he said that he is still adapting to the league, and that he is concentrating more on defense now, and that the offense will come in the future.
