montreal 11-19-2003, 05:00 PM Is there a place to find a map of all the Q teams? Also a dumb question, but does anyone know how far the rink at Rouyn-Norda is from the rink at Gatineau? And Val-Dor from Rouyn-Norda? I'm thinking of a PEI road trip. Thanks.
Gatineau-Montreal is 2 hours.
Apparently, Gatineau-Rouyn and Gatineau-Val D'or is pretty close.. some 3-4 hours.. alot of people make the trip to see games.
I live in the Gatineau area, i went to rimouski earlier this year, it's about 7-7:30 hours..
You probably know where Drummondville, Victoriaville, Shawinigan and Québec are :)

I am just trying to figure what 3 game road trip would be closer together
Gatineau, Shawining, Drummondville
or
Gatineau Rouyn-Norda Val-D'or
I don't know Gatineau it just fits a 3 game package when I can get off.

The first trip would be much closer together.

I am doing the trip 'montreal' talked about, this weekend....Friday I am going to Dru @ Gat, Saturday Val @ Dru and Sunday PEI@Sha
montreal 11-20-2003, 11:52 AM Thanks Steve, that's exactly what I was looking for. Very helpful.
Enjoy your trip, are you still a scout? if not could I get your opinions on how a few of the Rocket guys look. Urquhart, Lapierre, Laliberte and Gragnani? I know it's a lot, and if you don't have time, it's cool, I'll see them myself at some point.
I may opt for a January trip instead. Lewiston, Victoriaville and Quebec maybe.
if you want the quickest trip, then the first one would be it, but if you want to visit decent arenas, the second one would be better :)
I've been to only 4 arenas in the Q (planning to visit more): Gatineau, Québec, Rimouski and Shawinigan.
The first 3 are pretty good, but the Shawi barn is totally awful. I was there for their home opener this year and it's like sitting in a barn on church seats. LOL
And if you like mascots, the Rouyn one is 100 times better than that flying wood indian the Cats have hehehe
:p

Nice map but the only problem I see is that you have Lewiston, Maine located in the middle of a lake in the northern part of the state. We are actually approx. 35 miles from Portland, Maine and about 100 miles south of where it is now on the map.

The dots arent 100% accurate for any of the teams. The Q just stuck them in the right area.

I see sort of like throwing a dart at a dart board. At least were on the same continent. :)
