Does anyone see any rookie defencemen making the team this year? Huskin, Brien or O'Brien perhaps?

Rome's stock has dropped considerably. Mikkelson will be back in the WHL. I have to agree. If OB keeps having games where he scores points and has no minors than it's his spot to lose. How much ice he or whomever does get that spot will get once the season starts is a whole other question but I think it's safe to say OB is in the drivers seat at this point. I don't personally believe it's anyone's job to lose, and it's really a three-way coin flip(now wouldn't that be amazing to see) for it, with maybe a slight edge to OB. Dipenta showed he could be reliable throughout the playoffs, and the rookies have yet to show they can be reliable in October.
