Ducksforcup 09-24-2006, 01:45 AM BUMP!
Updated after the 4-3 loss to San Jose. Penner now leads the pack! :)
And no prob 76. :)
Pepper 09-24-2006, 01:04 PM You forgot the most important stat, no. of fighting majors!
Are these correct?
OB 3
OD 2(?)
Fridge 1
Moen 1
Glencross 1
Stewart 1
Complaining Customer 09-24-2006, 02:04 PM Oh thanks a lot, that list is pretty useful - every board should get a sticky like that.
Penner is GOOD. :D
Ducks_è_Halos 09-24-2006, 03:37 PM Thanks DFC.
Ditto. :)
Haven't been able to listen to most of the games so this is helpful.
Foppa2118 09-24-2006, 08:35 PM I know you guys get the Chistov question a lot, but how has he looked in camp and in the preseason games? Does he look more motivated, and like a different player than the last time you saw him?
Static 09-24-2006, 08:40 PM I know you guys get the Chistov question a lot, but how has he looked in camp and in the preseason games? Does he look more motivated, and like a different player than the last time you saw him?
Looks good, been throwing his body around, passing well. Seems motivated for once.
Ducksforcup 09-25-2006, 12:12 AM BUMP: Updated after tonight's SO loss to the Nucks.
Penner continues his rise up the rankings. I believe he is now tied for 1st PLACE in the NHL for total points in the pre-season. Awesome. :)
TheJoeMan 09-25-2006, 03:30 AM I know you guys get the Chistov question a lot, but how has he looked in camp and in the preseason games? Does he look more motivated, and like a different player than the last time you saw him?
He looked pretty good in camp but has been kind of invisible in the games. The ones I've seen him in he wasn't an offensive factor at all but seemed he learned how to forecheck. Listening to the game last night, didn't hear his name much. With Kuntiz and Penner playing so well I'd say he'll be relegated to third line duties. Doesn't bother me though because his best season was on the third line.
Jambalize 09-25-2006, 08:43 AM I thought Shannon has 4 assists. 2 on Wed, 1 Sat and 1 Sun...plus the goal Sun.
Ducksforcup 09-25-2006, 09:14 AM I thought Shannon has 4 assists. 2 on Wed, 1 Sat and 1 Sun...plus the goal Sun.
Yep, your right. Sorry about that. :)
And welcome to the boards NYDucky!!! :) :) Hope you have fun here!!! :) :yo: :yo: :yo:
I think you are our first NY based Duck fan, so your role as NY spy is very important. :D
Jambalize 09-25-2006, 09:53 AM Thanks for the warm welcome! I will do my best to represent east coast Ducks fans well--although I am more of a reader than a poster. I appreciate all of the coverage you guys provide. Until Center Ice starts up, you guys are my only connection to the team since my radio doesn't seem to pick up 830 :sarcasm: and the various internet feeds don't work on my mac
Snap Wilson 09-25-2006, 10:18 AM Dustin Penner is no Joel Perreault.
Spankatola Jamnuts 09-26-2006, 03:05 AM Dustin Penner is no Joel Perreault.
Who is?
Spankatola Jamnuts 09-26-2006, 03:07 AM uuhhhhhhhhh tool?
Give him a break, static. He's a Kings fan. They don't know about playoff heroes.
Pepper 09-26-2006, 03:34 AM Give him a break, static. He's a Kings fan. They don't know about playoff heroes.
Don't forget McSorley!!
ktulu98 09-26-2006, 09:48 AM oh guys you are so so lucky, you can watch preseason games, go to regular season matches and I cant even watch them on our cable TV
today they released TV schedule for NHL for next month, no ducks and again Rangers, Flyers, Pens are all over
well I thought that niedermayer and pronger would attract more attention, but no at least no for Czech TV

If it makes you feel any better, there are some of us who can't watch any NHL games AT ALL. :help:
Ducksforcup 09-26-2006, 10:15 PM BUMP: Updated for last night's 5-4 SO loss. McDonald's three point right took him to the top of the list with 7 points in only 3 games. Pronger moves to the top of the defensive list with his 3 PP assists yesterday.
:)
NOTE: Brent is now tied with AndyMac in goals foraged with each having 4 apiece. Most impressive.
lux_interior 09-27-2006, 02:03 AM I'll be excited when Andy Mac scores 7 points in 3 regular season games. I'll be uncontrollably ecstatic when he does it in the playoffs.

Jennifer 09-27-2006, 11:59 PM question(s) about that USA Today stat sheet
Do the asterisks stand for the rookies?
And if so wouldn’t Shane O'Brien be considered a rookie?
Or am I just off my rocker?
snarktacular 09-28-2006, 12:20 AM Whoa, according to the USAtoday site... Tim Brent is tied for 2nd in goals in the NHL! For preseason of course... and it's probably the last time this will EVER be true, but still. And Penner is tied for 3rd in total points. Perhaps bodes well for our future.

Sure looks like it.
(Asteriks stand for rookies). Maybe an error with O'Brien, because he would definitely qualify as a rook.

I thought so

Ducksforcup 09-29-2006, 12:27 AM BUMP: UPDATE!
Mac and Penner are now tied with an impressive 8 points! :handclap: :handclap: :handclap: Shannon adds another point to his impressive totals. :yo:
Davey Duck 09-29-2006, 07:44 PM I was just checking the stats on CBS Sportsline and noticed this:
Andy MacDonald
4 Goals
5 Shots
80% Shooting Percentage
Ducksforcup 10-01-2006, 12:56 AM Last Update!
Not much to update really. GOD, Fedoruk, and R. Nieds each recorded their first points of the pre-season tonight.
Oceanic39* 10-01-2006, 12:37 PM What are the lines looking like up front?
Thanks in advance.
Static 10-01-2006, 01:25 PM What are the lines looking like up front?

Have to wait to see who makes the team first...
