Fun Game Experiences

i saw this on a myspace group and thought it might be fun to hear some of your game experiences in the stands, "fights, quotes from other people, things of that sort."

i have quiet a few but one that sticks out in my mind was back in 2000 i think, when the devils played the maple leafs in the second round. i had a devils couple and a maple leafs couple sitting directly behind me, maybe late 20's. anyways, it was towards the end of the game and the women started to get into a verbal argument and from what i remember the the toronto fan goes and spills beer all over the other woman. she then gets up and starts to head down the stairs. meanwhile, the devils fan gets up heads down the stairs after her and hits her with her phone in the back of the head. they start to fight and then i look behind me and their boyfriends or husbands are now throwing punches at each other. its didnt take long for the ushers to break it up after that but even though i got beer spilled all over me, the phone to the back of the head was worth the price of admission itself.

I've only been to three games so my experiences are pretty limited.


1. In '01 I went to San Jose to watch the Devils play. The first thing that was weird was that I believe Stevens and Nolan were roughing each other up a little bit but there was no whistle. Most of the people on the Ice were watching them except I think one devil maybe it was 3 I'm not entirely sure. Even Nabokov was watching it. Anyway the Devil player shot the puck and scored the San Jose team was pretty mad but it was funny and it counted as there was no whistle. After that happened maybe a few minutes after this idiot Sharks fan grabbed a devil hat off this about 12 year old girls head and threw it .

2. In '00 I was in Dallas for games 3 and 4 of the stanley cup finals I don't remember if it was the first game or the second game but Dallas lost and I saw this Dallas fan walk down the stairs kicking a empty beer cup and cussing all the way down. I was with my brother and some other people and we just started laughing. The other thing happened to me and before this game I never saw one of those air guns that shot shirts live and thought where I was it wouldn't hit as hard as it did. I tried to catch it and it came in pretty fast it hit me in about 3 places and flew to my right about 3 rows down. I also heard that Scott's mom had beer spilled on her, somebody told her who it was and she got into the guys face and told him off.
