When I left Friday night, JRyz had the lead. but when I came back tonight, he was losing by 6.

I really like Zharkov's upside. With our recent luck with Russians on our team(Kozlov, Mogilny, Malakhov, Suglobov....excluding Sarge) we are long overdue for Mother Russia to come through for us once again. I really believe Zharkov and Vasyunov will work out quite well.

Well, our RECENT history with Russians isn't great, but Mogilny was Absolute Citron with us back in 2000 and 2001. Malakhov was decent with us on our Cup run in 2001. Sarge has always been consistent. Fetisov was solid. We've had our fair share of strong, Russian players in our system. Unfortunately, last year's batch was dreadful.

it actually is baffling at this point how many people consider Ryznar a better prospect that Pihlman, Ryznar is merely a plug 4th liner, Pihlman at least has the potential it seems to put the puck in the net, i dont see what Ryznar has done at this point honestly.

I agree...I think Zharkov, Davis, Eckford, Clarkson, Fraser, and Khomutov are all better prospects.

Sorry I don't agree about Pihlman. I wonder whether he's about done with our franchise. I like him personally, but we there's just been no spark out of him in Albany or with the big club.

Now Ryznar, well I consider him a potential future Madden liner. And that's a pretty important role with our club. I'd like to see him play with Pando and Madden this year to see if that's the case. He's got the grit and the guts for the role.
