Ok, I'm starting to get fed up. First it was Gary Roberts slashing Colin White and breaking his nose, then when White goes back to jab him, Roberts looks like he just got shot in the chest.
Tonight, Gomez is trying to get a puck in the slot, is tied up with a defensman, puts on the brakes and bumps Marty Biron, who goes down like a ton of bricks.
Then, Friesen is skating past Biron, I don't even know if he touched him, but Biron leaps into the air, throws his stick behind the goal and belly flops in the crease.
As disgusting and ****less as it is to dive...what the hell are the officials looking at? It's one thing if the players are at least selling the dive, but these guys are terrible actors. I mean, it looks like a The Harlem Globetrotters on ice or something.
Why can't these officials call a dive on a goalie without calling co-incedental minors? Let me tell you somthing, the diving will stop real quick when goalies start causing shorthanded situations.
I don't know, diving has always been a problem, but this year it just seems like it's all over the place.
