I'll admit my talk of him being traded was premature. He is a great guy, and a skilled hockey player. The new NHL is made for a player of his caliber. Anways if you guys watched sports talk today you guys knew about Morrison's surgery which took 3 1/2 hours. Morrison is expected to be on crutches for the next 6 weeks, but will be in very good shape come training camp, so we should see his wheels that looked like that they where gone during the 05/06 season. Morrison said on sports talk that he does not want to leave the team, because he loves it here.

Anways I thinking about the Canucks and scoring around 60 points on a injury is not bad at all. Morrison in my eyes is still a top 15-20 center in this league, but the fact that I was so hard on him this year was because he is capable of so much more. In this NHL Morrison is capable of 75-PPG status IMO. IMO if Morrison is able to play the game at a high level when Markus Naslund leaves the 'C' should go to Morrison. He is a solid two way player, who can play on any line from 1-3. Here is hoping that Morrison has that break out year that I've been waiting for 2 years now.
