Rats outshot 23-37.
The lone goal came in the third:
Albany - Eric Johansson (Craig Darby, Maxim Balmochnykh) 18:56
The Rats are, in case anyone is wondering, at the very very bottom of the AHL standings.
I didn't actually think it was possible for this team to do worse than in previous seasons, but apparently it is. When Clemmensen is consistently your best player on the ice, methinks it's time for something to give. :madfire: :shakehead :mad: :rant:

How is this team still so crummy??? all that new talent, a "heatly" Foster, Clemmy playing well........... It just doesn't make any sense. Going into this season I had never been so excited about the Rats chances for success but man oh man whats going on up there????

Adding talent doesn't guarantee success. Look at the Rangers.

Looks like Giroux and Redlihs have been the two best offensive defensemen down there so far. Anyone know why Giroux is listed on the inactive list on the rats site?

Well, the fact that they're really the only two offensive defensemen is a good argument for them being the best so far...:p
Where did you see that Giroux was listed as inactive? On their regular roster he's not listed under the inactive players:

I see it when I click on statistics there. He's listed on the inactive list along with Bicek and Foster.
