Here's a guy's clip featuring Foot+'s 10 goals of the year in L1.
I personally wouldn't rank them in this order.
Things to note :
Goal #10 : that was a winning goal by Ribery at the last minute.
Goal #9 : Game winning goal as well by Govou.
Goal #8 : Rocchi is a former PSG product. He's a DM.
Goal #5 : Scored by Benoit Cheyrou (Bruno's bro). Keep in mind he's a DM.
Goal #3 : Would be #1 on my list simply because no other player in the world could score than goal.
Note that half of these 10 goals were scored by defensive midfielders. Another opportunity to stress the quality of the players at this position in L1.

That goal is clearly the goaltender's fault. You just have to stop a shot from 35m that is coming towards the center of the goal.

That's a soft goal if I ever seen one in soccer.
Kim Kallstrom i think had the best one

Good countdown, I actually saw Kim Kallstrom's goal live, well not live considering TV5 is on tape delay in Montreal.
L1's quality is very underrated I find, I prefer it to the premiership, especially the crap matches on sportsnet east. But then again I have a weakness for girls with french accents and Mainland French in general (Quebecois is a bit too rough for me).

You probably haven't seen this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5RrIn6NZdz8&mode=related&search=piplica

No, it wasn't.
If you look at the second angle, you can see the ball changing direction while in the air.
It's going towards center, and suddenyl changes towards the right.
This is exactly what is so hard about stopping Juninho's shots and free kicks. They change direction. Nobody can do that as well as him (not even close).
:dunno: How is number seven not top 3? A cross that was met with a crazy spin kick while the ball was in the air and into the top of the net. That looked like the most difficult one there

I agree, I was thinking the same thing looking at it.

hehe I agree... nodbody talked about number 6 but IMO it was a beautiful goal, one of my favorite among the top 10.
Marama Vahirua is one of my favourte players for some time, back to when Nantes won the league and he scored a few.
Evilo 06-30-2006, 07:50 AM Personally, I like Rocchi's goal (8th) because it had incredible touch.
Number 7 is indeed absolutely unreal to make, but I think the luck factor explains its ranking. Vahirua won't be able to do this ever again I think. :D
Lamouchi (#6) is a very nice goal, but it's not very rare to see such a goal.
I like Cheyrou's goal a lot (#5) because it's pure Cheyrou here : take the ball from the opponent, make a full rush, dribbling and nice efficient shooting. It went so fast that Nantes' D was humiliated.
I think #4 is overrated.
Kallstrom's was wonderful (#2).
I still don't think #1 is too impressive.

Same here. It was also clever - I bet no one, including the goalkeeper, was expecting him to try that.

I still think Collins John's is the best.
Kaizer 06-30-2006, 09:30 AM I like #7

That goal wasn't at the last minute. If I remember well, it was at something like the 75th minute.

That's true, I'm onfusing with another Ribery winner.
It was still the winning goal, but not at the last minute.

Wasn't there a huge goal scored by Tugay in the same game that Pedersen scored his nice one?
I thought Tugay's was even more impressive.
there was, it was a full volley from a corner
they don't do enough justice for the MGP goal, it started back with the goalkeeper and was the swiftest counter attack, some lovely sharp, one touch passing.
