I wholeheartedly disagree. If Crosby comes, then he's given the shot to be the second line center while McDonald, well, who knows what happens to him, really. Getzlaf then never sees the NHL, Perry probably doesn't, either. We probably don't have that 8-game losing streak, so guys like Fedorov and Sykora may never have gotten traded. I think we might've made the playoffs, and maybe we would've ended up doing better if Fedorov found his game, as with Sykora, but there's also that very real chance that alot goes wrong, and we end up like Crosby's Penguins, so I'm happy with everything as it turned out.

Getting Crosby would have been awesome, but like Bobby said...maybe a lot of the things that helped improve the team don't happen if Crosby is here and helped Sykora and Sergei produce more. The Ducks have a good future without Sid the kid. Not sure he would have helped against Edmonton anyway, they were just too good defensively.

That's not how the lottery worked anyway. Had it not been the Pens, it would have been any one of 29 other teams, not just Anaheim.

I'm not gonna lie . . . Pittsburgh really needs a new barn. I hope they get one.

As a Sabres fan weighing in here, I'm almost glad Buffalo didn't get Crosby. Look what they did without him. If the Sabres had Crosby, maybe Jason Pominville never sees the NHL this year.
