A really well spoken kid, he put a lot of thought into his answers. He's obviously bummed about being unable to play, but was quite eloquent and able to reflect.
Obviously, he didn't play and he didn't participate in normal practices, just seeing time on the ice at the same time as the Black Aces, doing skating and shooting. He always was looking at the other end where the Black Aces would practice and every now and then would get to throw the puck back and forth with one of the guys. He seemed like he really wants to get back and participate again.
Also all during the week, he would be hanging around while I did other interviews. Always working on his puck handling skills, playing with a puck on the cement and stuff, some of the things this guy can do with the puck was awesome, flipping it around his stick, bouncing it off of things and so on. Should be interesting to see what he can do in a full, healthy season.

So many injuries at this early stage, I hope he can recover with no problems.
