25 Years

The 2006-2007 season will mark the 25th year the Devils have been in NJ.
Do you think the team will have some sort of recognition of the feat by wearing a special "25" on their sweaters next season? and Perhaps some sort of "25" at center ice?

Most others teams put a 25 in the center of the ice. It's our last season at CAA so i'm sure we will do something.

Maybe the organization will use some type of 25th Season logo on the website and for publications.

I doubt it. Drawing attention to the team in any way doesn't seem like Lou's style. :sarcasm:

I can't recall the team doing anything like a patch or an on-ice logo for the 20th anniversery of the team. I don't think they'll do anything for the 25 the anniversery, but I could be wrong.

The Devils had a 10th Anniversary patch according to Chris Creamer's SportsLogos.net website (http://www.chriscreamer.com/logo.php?lo=6893).

I don't know the nature of that patch. I don't think the Devils wore it on their sweaters because that was also the 75th NHL season, so all teams wore a patch on the right shoulded comprised of "75" with the NHL logo inside the bottom of the five.

If I remember correctly the 10th Anniversary patch was about an inch and a quarter in size and it was located next to the CCM logo in the back bottom corner of the jersey

The Devils also had a 1 next to the round logo in center ice on the year of the 10th anniversary of the team.

I actually have an old red and green 10 year anniversary t shirt they gave out at one game that year (maybe opening day I don't remember). I'm pretty sure that was the last season they wore red and green actually.
