Per Dan Wood in the O.C. Register:

The Ducks will send rookie forwards Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry and Dustin Penner to Portland, Maine, for the duration of the AHL playoffs. The Pirates play at Hershey, Penn., in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals Tuesday.

Hmm, I'm a little surprised that they're sending Getz and CP back. I assume Burke and Carlyle left the choice up to them.

Wow, talk about a change in a line-up!!! Any NHL team would love to get those 3 for the Play-Offs let alone for the AHL play-offs!!! Man do I pitty the other team!!!

The Hershey coach must be doing this right now : :banghead:

Sucks for him trying to figure out how to deal with 3 AHL All-stars all the sudden.

Wow to think that these guys were down by 2 goals in game 5 and now they get the best line in AHL all year back for Game 7! That's not fair. Plus having three rounds of NHL playoff experience will make them even better than they were when they were down there. Get ready to party Portland!!!

It's sort of like us getting Heatley Alfredson and Spezza from the Sens, I like that.

There is absolutely nothing unfair about having these guys return to the Pirates. They are eligible, so it is fair. One could argue that it was unfair for the Pirates not having them up until now - they could have been helping out the whole time.

What a great future the Ducks have.

Now I know you guys could probally care less about the opinion of an Oiler fan but I have to say this. After watching the last series Dustin Penner is a ****in beast. Damn does he have a soft pair of hands for a man his size. He is going to big a big time player for a long time. Needs to be more disciplined though.

Yep, except that penalty he got for not touching Roloson was a brutal call.

The man will be a star in the NHL. :handclap:
