Why do we have some of the dumbest fans?

Im having a debate with another Devils fan over who's better Phaneuf or Rafalski he says Rafalski is better than Phaneuf. I know every team probably has these but we take the cake. No offense to anyone here cause everyones good here but Devilsrule.com sheeeeeeeeeeesh

Definitely better offensively and plays a more physical style than Raffy, but I don't know how he really racks up defensively until I see him play a few times.

What a minute, if Rafalski is not better than Phaneuf, does that mean he's not also better than Pronger??

The person who feels Raffy is better has no arguement. YOu are correct 100%.

Rafalski needs a particular type of defenseman to be paired with to be effective (one with a physcial type game). Rafalski did log 25 or more minutes a game and anchor our PP but, even though Brian is sound defensively, he is nowhere near as good defensively as Phaneuf. Phaneuf played like a veteran defenseman with a presence.

Phaneuf is the next Scott Stevens. He is younger then Rafalski, is more valuable at his salary and is a premier defenseman in the league.

Phaneuf >> Rafalski.

Rafalski is good, but come on.....

Every team has the dumbest fans. You should check out Lightning fans sometimes. They get excited about 1-on-3s.

Rafalski and Phaneuf is not a debate you can have. It's apples and oranges.

However if you have both, there's one exciting tandem for sure!
