Game 3 - Which Goalie Gets the Start & Why?

Bryz or Jiggy? Bryz has played well, although not stellar. Is it time to put Giguere in the net for Game 3? :dunno:

Giguere. Because he deserves a chance at redemption. Because Bryz should have stopped Pronger's shot. Because we need a change in momentum.

Because we have nothing to lose.

I'm sure this thought is going through the minds of those in charge, as well as those of many Anaheim fans. Bryzgalov has not played badly at all in the 2 losses. The reason for putting Jiggy in net would mostly be to "stir things up", just as Carlyle did when Bryzgalov replaced Jiggy.
Even though I'm a big Jiggy fan, I'd expect to see Bryz in net for Game 3. Jiggy did not fare well against Edmonton this season, and we all know how easy it is for Smyth & co. to throw him off his game. They just have to go with the same game plan they used to make him go ballistic that one time - stay in his face, crowd the crease, perhaps make comments to him, some "friendly reminders" of what he's up against. That and the pressure of the situation would be too much for him.
I'd say Jiggy continues cheerleading for the start of game 3. Put him in if ever down by 2, and certainly start him in Game 4 if they lose.

Everything you said is why I'd put him in for game 3. He knows that **** is coming, so he'd be prepared. Redemption.

Bryz hasn't shown any reason to be NOT in the net. It isn't his fault that the team couldn't put more pucks past Rolo.

Anyhow, as someone already noted... JS vs Edm... heh heh I don't want to lose that fast!

I'd like to see Jiggy in net because he could provide the spark we need. The last time we played in that building he was excellent, until the last shot, but he was the only reason we were even in that game. Bryz has played well but we've got our backs against the wall and we need something.

Bryz leads all playoff tenders with a 1.10 GAA and a .958 Save Percentage. He has had three shutouts. No one else---including Roloson---has had more than one shutout. And some of you guys want to start Jiggy??????

I was hoping Jiggy would start tonite. Why? Because I wasn't sure that our offence could help us win, and I didn't think Bryz was going to steal a game from these Oilers, while I knew Jiggy could. The offense did show up, but obviously, I think had Jiggy started, we could've won that game. Oh well.

None. Marshall and Moen are useless in a series that NEEDS any and all offense. Skinner is just there to watch and learn.
