First of all, great interview Mr. Forbes! :)

Secondly, good to see that Brett has learned well...

HF: "Have you been watching any of their playoff run?"

"BF: Yeah, I have. Everybody’s going for Edmonton because everyone’s from the West. But the California guys (defenseman Jonathan Blum and center Tim Kraus) are with me on Anaheim. But everyone’s going for Edmonton because they’re Canadian. Yeah, I’m going for [Anaheim]."

Good man. He sounds like a great defensive player that can score a little bit in a more offensive system.

GL to him!!! :) :yo: Sounds like signing him was a steal. :yo:

Hey guys, I was meaning to post this but the Mem. Cup has kept me busy.

Just a little FYI, Brendan Mikkelson is here in Moncton and I talked with him yesterday. Look for an article on him later in the week.

Festerling was a great guy to talk to and when I talk with Coach Don Hay today I'll share his thoughts as well. Some interesting things that I've heard about Festerling is that a lot of people think he could be a powerplay quarterback on a weaker WHL team but he's sacrificed that to be part of a winner.

Vancouver hasn't had much luck to date, unfortunately.

First, nice article on Festerling. But, Dustin Penner isn't the 6th-best prospect, is he? Slightly better than LeVasseur but not as good as Mikkelson? Are Getzlaf and Perry still considered prospects?

Just giving you a bad time. :) I'm sure you haven't had a chance to update it. I'm looking forward to the next update.

We have set times when we redo the top 20s, the next time not being until the fall. Also Getzlaf and Perry are still considered prospects under HF's rules. Plus the next time the top 20 comes out there will be all the 06 draft selections on top of what's already there.
