I hope they keep the 83-line intact. Just drop Santala and put OJ between Peltonen and Miettinen. Or maybe put Bergenheim there instead of Miettinen. I'm not liking what I've seen from Miettinen so far and Bergenheim has impressed every shift.

Then again. OJ could bring something extra out of Ruutu...

^My feelings right now. IF he is capable of playing without pain, then YES! OJ is what we have lacked and now we got him. He is a team player and no doubt will fit in the team. I don't think heäll do any damage to the team spirit.

Now I'm loving this team, we have more NHL'ers than most. We have the best goaltender from the Olympics and a bona-fide #1 centre (nobody else has that, Canada is closest with Crosby who is maturing into the role)

No Kallio, please! They could drop Kallio out of lineup to make room for OJ actually. Wouldn't mind at all.

Ruutu's fine now, just needs more ice time than 10 minutes a game for it to really show. Mikko Koivu can no longer be held back at a #3 centre, he's stolen #2 spot for himself.
Viuhkola and Santala (re their jobs today, #1 and #2 down the middle) just got demoted. Olli to #1, Ville with him and someone else, Bergenheim?

Santala is not suited for the #4 line, a job Pirnes is ideal for. Defenrs like so far, expect scratch Mäntylä, Malmivaara into his place and let him warm the bench until we really need a shakeup. 6 defender rotation was more stable for us.

Olli has never been one of my favorite players, but I gotta respect his loyalty to the national team. And he's obviously a valuable addition to us. Fantastic news! :)

Olli's our best player right now. Our best 2 way player. There was a reason why OJ came closest to forcing the olympic final into overtime.

Why? So they would play not like a team once again :) In my opinion enough is enough, those are great players but fitting them to a team and making them play the "right" system would be quite hard in this time.

I wouldn't touch at 83 line and 4th line, because of their stellar play against USA. Bergenheim was absolutely brilliant and I think Kallio was also good, he just didn't hit between the post.

If this won't click I would try and switch Kallio/Bergenheim. Only our 3rd line keeps me thinking. Miettinen is playing well, he hits and drives to the net. Rita is still looking and so is Hentunen.

I would send Viuhkola back to Finland, he hasn't been able to make plays and has been quite soft.

I agree completely, Viuhkola (slow, soft and not creative enough) hasn't impressed at all and 3rd & 4th lines need to stay as they are.

I would go with these lines. Santala, Pirnes, Hentunen and Rita will fight for the last remaining places in lineup in the next two games.

I like Viuhkola as a player, but he`s been too slow and because of that he can`t control the game like he usually does.

I think EW wont be making too big changes, Viuhkola line has been good enough. And they´ve been good on PP.

Why i left Santala on the roster is because he is big, plays well with Miettinen and he has better offensive skills than Pirnes. Pirnes wouldnt be bad choise either but i think Tommi has the egde. On the other hand Rita could be there too because T.Ruutu and J.Jokinen can play as center, but his ice-time has been minimal.
