What a brutal sounding in-studio combo. Murray just gives me the creeps.

Too bad the good hockey analysts are all working the playoffs.

I agree.....Murray is a good hockey guy but is a terribly poor analyst. His lack of facial expression/monotone voice don't ensue confidence.

Rod Black is generally better at other sports such as baseball, imo.

Johnny Lu is holding the show together. Ok, I'm exaggerating - but he's actually a great reporter.

Frustating for USA fans for sure , he was always talking about team Canada and when team USA had the puck he was talking about Canada players past seasons .

Rod Black and Andy Murray were in the studio-not calling the game. The commentators were Dave Reid and ?

Hey, I enjoy Rod Black. Should be a full time Jays PBP... Too bad TSN gets like, 15 games.

Jamie Campbell sucks major ***.

I like Andy Murray. He's about as smart as they come, and his voice is so soothing. I'm not sure why it matters what kind of facial expressions he has since the camera is usually following the play.

I like Andy Murray very much, very smart guy and knows his hockey. Who cares what he looks like? You're not going to kiss him do ya?

I find most of the in studio stuff that TSN does without its bigtimers (Miller, McGuire, Mckenzie, etc...) is extremely superficial. Usually the hosts state the obvious points, and don't really do much to enlighten. It is pretty frustrating. It's almost as bad as watching Sportscentre on Sundays, which only show highlights, and have no insightful commentary or anything. It's part of the reason I dread Sundays in fact!

Not to seguay away from the original source of the attack...but I just can't resist the urge to bash McGuire.

The guy is a self-loathing clown. Everytime he speaks I cringe...it's almost too unbearable to watch.

He works so hard to impress everyone with his astute knowledge. I almost feel like every broadcast is his own personal platform to beg and plead for a head coach or GM position. It's pathetic.

Not to mention his ridiculous change of tone when he speaks. I wonder if he practises at home in front of the mirror.

And last but certainly not least, his constant molestation of the World Jrs. I mean, is he coming on to all of those players, or is it just me? He just can't seem to get into that dressing room enough to check out "Weber's rippling muscles". It was definitely going to be a tug-of-war between Phaneuf and Weber to see which one would make McGuire their *****. Dion would have Phaneufed him in the end for sure.

The guy is an embarrassment. I hope one day soon that Bob McKenzie will mistake him for a donut and drown him in milk.

I still say TSN needs to get Paul Romaniuk back from London, England to do the Worlds. In my opinion he is the best hockey play-by-play man on the planet.

As far as the instudio stuff goes, I frankly don't mind Rod Black. The only problem with him is he reminds me of watching Figure Skating or Toyota Atlantic racing on Sunday afternoons on CTV. Andy Murray on the otherhand, after seeing him on TV its no wonder he couldn't get my Kings inspired. Half the time I expect him to start singing the Rainbow Connection or whining about Miss Piggy. But all I can say is thank god that TSN, does have the NHL Playoffs, I'd hate to have to listen to Chris Cuthbert and Pierre Maguire calling these games. Don't get me started on "Big Head" Bob McKenzie either.

If TSN insists that it needs to have a studio show for these games, which I don't think is necessary, ditch Andy Murray and bring in Dave King. I realize Andy is on the show because he's been there and supposedly can bring insight into what must be going on for the players, coaches etc. in this environment. Come to think of it I enjoyed Terry Crisp in the studio a few years back. I don't even remember which games he was a part of.

Of course since CBC is only using Don Cherry every other night, why not allow him to be on TSN's Worlds broadcast the opposite day? I enjoy his ranting, especially when he goes off on how this guy is a good Canadian boy from wherever and stuff. He is the best guy for stirring up Canadian pride for international events.
