Alex Auld ??? :dunno: motojime 05-07-2006, 08:58 AM Should be Denis, Auld serving as a backup and probably seeing only 1 game in a tournament. But still, this could be his game. helloutsi 05-07-2006, 01:15 PM Auld gets the start tonight. The game starts in a minute. Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 01:17 PM Game Is Now Underway. Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 01:29 PM BERGERON! 1-0 Canada. :handclap: 2-0, BOYES! :handclap: Trendsetter 05-07-2006, 01:37 PM Norway clearly the better team early 2 stupid giveaways = 2 canadian goals rangers 05-07-2006, 01:40 PM Wow, we have a serious goalie problem! :help: This might get ugly... Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 01:40 PM COMRIE, BEAUTIFUL! :handclap: Noodles 05-07-2006, 01:53 PM How's Auld looking? 9 penalties in the first period, wow. Desi 05-07-2006, 01:57 PM Crosby with 2 assists already. :yo: BadBruins 05-07-2006, 02:00 PM The two Bruin stars and Crosby geting it done again for Canada. Borschevsky 05-07-2006, 02:11 PM Crosby with a goal Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 02:11 PM CROSBY :handclap: Mr. Penguin 05-07-2006, 02:12 PM Go Cros... er, Canada! :) I wonder if Canada will crush Norway... USA couldn't do it. Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 02:16 PM Williams makes it 5-0. :handclap: Desi 05-07-2006, 02:16 PM Crosby is AMAZING! WILLIAMS! ThorntonSamsonovfan 05-07-2006, 02:19 PM Bergeron now has a goal and 4 assists this tournament, Crosby 3 goals and 2 assists whilst Boyes has 2 goals and an assist. Hopefully Canada v Russia it'll be this line against the Ovechkin/Malkin?(Semin?) line. Desi 05-07-2006, 02:21 PM Bergeron now has a goal and 4 assists this tournament, Crosby 3 goals and 2 assists whilst Boyes has 2 goals and an assist. Hopefully Canada v Russia it'll be this line against the Ovechkin/Malkin?(Semin?) line. I think Sushinsky is the third guy on that line. Semin and AO are both LW, so they are on separate lines. Russian_fanatic 05-07-2006, 02:29 PM 6-0 Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 02:29 PM Nice one, Bergeron! :handclap: gbl1p 05-07-2006, 02:31 PM Crosby putting on a clinic again, 4 points halfway thru the game. Desi 05-07-2006, 02:33 PM I'm following through the IIHF site and they say its 7-0?:dunno: Russian_fanatic 05-07-2006, 02:35 PM 7-0 shanahan scores! SwisshockeyAcademy 05-07-2006, 02:35 PM Norway have really stepped it down a level. With the exception of their top line the rest of the team look like they are scared to death. It has been an exceptionally poor performance from their defense. They have not been able to read the rush, they have not been able to make adequate breakout passes, they have not been able to be in position around their net and they have been unable to collect pucks off their defensive walls to even start the breakout. Couple that with a goalie who cannot make a big save and you have a disaster. Norway have been well beyond disappointing and its not like my expectations were high to begin with. Russian_fanatic 05-07-2006, 02:35 PM This is REALLY getting sad now lol. Start Auld next game! Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 02:36 PM LOL, talk about a butt kicking! Desi 05-07-2006, 02:37 PM Now IIHF says its 8-0? Greyhounds 05-07-2006, 02:40 PM Can't see the game in New England, but it sounds like Bergeron is his usual self. Check out his goal at this site, and vote for it if you like it. He is trailing badly in the voting, but it's a great end to end rush. quick link (http://www.rbkgreatestgoal.ca/vote.asp) You can vote once a day. Vman 05-07-2006, 02:40 PM Shanahan scored the 8th goal? Kevin Forbes 05-07-2006, 02:41 PM Shanahan scored the 8th goal? Shanahan scored the 7th goal, according to my TV it's still 7-0. Norway just changed their goaltender. CaptCrunch 05-07-2006, 02:43 PM I like Patrick Thoresen... good energy and grit... doesn't give up on the plays... Desi 05-07-2006, 02:43 PM Nevermind, IIHF fixed their site and have it at 7-0, they counted the Bergeron goal twice for some reason. Borschevsky 05-07-2006, 02:43 PM 24-19 Norway leads in faceoffs Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 03:14 PM Norway gets 1 goal, oh well, the game is out of reach for them now, anyway. Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 03:18 PM Thanks for pulling the game off, TSN. Crosbyfan 05-07-2006, 03:21 PM Thanks for pulling the game off, TSN. What reason did they give? Hawkhead 05-07-2006, 03:24 PM Norway's embassy called and told them to turn it off filfren 05-07-2006, 03:25 PM What reason did they give? Colorado vs anaheim game... Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 03:25 PM What reason did they give? To put on avs/ducks, and probably because the score is 7-2, but still I'd like to see the end of it anyway. Le Golie 05-07-2006, 03:26 PM What reason did they give? Since it's a blowout and pretty much over, they went to the Ducks Avs game. luv_canadian_hockey 05-07-2006, 03:26 PM What reason did they give? James Duthie said that it was because Canada was in control..plus the game took longer then they expected. Crosbyfan 05-07-2006, 03:27 PM Colorado vs anaheim game... So if it was close they still would have gone to the NHL playoff game? It was scheduled that way from the start? guess I should type faster Leafer4Life 05-07-2006, 03:37 PM IIFH website says that the game has ended, final is 7-1 Canada. Scoogs 05-07-2006, 03:55 PM I seriously can't watch these games... They are too annoying. Muting the TV is too weird for me.. Those stupid ****ing duck noise makers drive me crazy. gimzo23 05-07-2006, 04:17 PM I seriously can't watch these games... They are too annoying. Muting the TV is too weird for me.. Those stupid ****ing duck noise makers drive me crazy. Totally agree. I know it seems to be a common practice in Russian sports and some other parts in Eastern europe, but It's definitely EXTREMELY annoying. Any indications of a high occurence of tinitus cases in Russia yet? ;) | ||
