If NJ beats Philly today...

Why is it that whenever we beat teams it's the Refs, trap, luck and now a new one "The Flu." :shakehead

This was mentioned in the 4/16 GDT. I figure, let's make it a poll.

What will be the excuse if NJ beats Philadelphia today?

I voted for fatigue, the darkhorse of excuses. Game's about to be on.

I voted "other". Today, it will be that Forsberg is scratched (with probably some whining about fatigue, the refs, and the trap thrown in for good measure). That's why, no matter how good a player he is, I would never want Forsberg on the Devils. If your top center is so injury prone you can't count on him playing half the time, what good is he?

If only I made this poll now, I would have made that a separate option (didn't know he was a scratch until I turned on the TV, which was right after I made this here poll). But I guess that's "other" in this case. :)

I picked other, because the game is "so boring" Flyer fans will have trouble focusing on the game and finding that one perfect excuse. :propeller

I should have put something like "THE SCHEDULE! BACK TO BACK HOME GAMES IN NJ" because that famed Continental Airlines Arena just gets underneath the skin of the visiting team to give them nightmares...just noticed that from our friends' GDT.

I voted fatigue too, because a Flyer poster on their board was complaining about back to back games. :dunno:

You should edit it to say NJ plays the trap (better than Philly).
