I still think Jagr gets the Hart...but who knows...does a few points sway everyone's attention to Thornton now?

I still think Jagr gets the Hart...but who knows...does a few points sway everyone's attention to Thornton now?Thonrton has turned San Jose's season around. They were well out of a playoff spot. The Sharks clinched 5th place by beating Scott Niedermayer and the Anaheim Ducks. I should also add that Niedermayer, Anaheim's captain, was benched midway through the second after being a -2. I don't believe he was hurt.

I thought it was a bad trade for Boston at the time. I know that got back a really good player and a couple of good players, but Thornton had 9 Goals and 24 Assists in 23 GP for the Bruins. That's pretty impressive to have more than an assist per game, not to mention the nine goals. Here is what those numbers for his 23 games project out to be if he had kept up the same pace,
GP G A PTS
82 32 86 118In reality though, he has 125 PTS overall on the season.

He's been unreal, without him Cheech doesn't score 56, and the Sharks don't make the playoffs. MVP.

Finalists

Jagr
Thornton
Kipper.

I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find many hockey fans in Western Canada that are heartbroken that the Leafs missed the playoffs. I'm sure there are some that are, but me thinks I'm with the majority of Western Canadian folks :D

Sorry. I've just been so poluted with Toronto stuff on the sports networks here. It's hard for me to want to cheer for them....Living near Toronto, that's understandable to feel like that. Just like for me if the Flames were to have not made the playoffs this year....

Agree 100% on the finalists but my vote is for Kipper. the things this guy has done for Calgary every night has been amazing. Although he probably won't get because of the eastern influence of writers.

Very true but come to think, Jagr turn the Rangers's decade around. But Hart is for a single season. That's a tough call.
