Did anybody else realize we could get as high as 3rd place in the conference.......If everything pans out


If the Rangers lose there last 3 games (Pit, Phi, & Ott) which is possible, and we win our 3 games (Phi 2x, & Mtl), and philly wins only the ranger game, we would get the 3rd overall seed,

I don't see it happening but still having a *chance* at the division this late in the season is very impressive considering our poor start.

Does anybody else think that could happen!It would be great, but it is unlikely. The important thing is that the Devils are going to the playoffs. You forget that the Flyers and Rangers have some secret, evil pact to assure their games against one another go into overtime.

If we have the tie breaker with Philly, they can go 2-4, we of course have to go 3-0 and with the Rnagers droping like flies there is a chance they can go 0-3. We would then be tied with Philly for 101 pts. I believe we would win the division. Let's remember all the losses have to be in regulation.

I just read that if all three teams finish with 101pts., we would win the division. Hey, it's a long shot, but it's still possible.

It would be nice, but I don't think it's likely to happen.

The 5th seed? Or the third seed? I think winning the division is unlikely, but we definitely have a chance at the fifth seed, since we play Philly twice more.
