Still notice the Devils have Frank Doyle on their active roster. Is Clemmensen still on some type of emergency leave? If so, does anybody know why or has anybody heard what for? Info on this might have been provided in local papers or in other threads but I have not taken notice.
ESPN did report he was ill, but how ill could he be? Doyle is still up when he could be playing in the AHL. Clmmer either has a sever flu or something else. Just wondered if anyone heard anything.

Maybe Frank Doyle is just getting the chance to soak up the big league atmosphere. It's good for his development to take away some of the wonderment of being around an NHL club.

I tink it's meant to give Ari some games in Albany, reward Frank with some time at the NHL wage scale (much like Barry and Jason about a month ago) and give him a chance to practice at the highest level.

I don't care if it is Clemmensen or Doyle or Ahonen or Johnny Bower; someone has to play one of the final regular season games.
Hey, if Marty gets hurt, we won't win a damn thing. But just in case he misses a game or a period during the playoffs due to an injury, someone has to be somewhat sharp and ready to step in.
Also, I want to see Marty get a blow in one of the games against the Flyers. You know they will run him and try to hurt him. Can anyone say Donald Brashear?

Scott also won the last game he started against Boston on Ken Daneyko Night.
