why does brodeur write in teh edomonton journal all the time?

If the Devils win 11 straight to end the season and earn the 5th seed, I think Marty deserves the Vezina.

Kipper, Lundqvist, Gerber and Legace all deserve it as well.

Maybe they just ask Marty to write an article about something, Marty says, "Sure, I'll write your article," and then it gets published in their paper.

Anyway, IIRC, Kiprusoff has had an amazing season, I wouldn't be surprised if he got it this year.

I think he writes regularly for one of the Montreal papers and it gets reprinted in the Edmonton media afterwards.

I think Marty is right about the Vezina. Miikka Kiprusoff has had a great year. Turco's numbers are very good as well. I would like to see Marty be finalist. That's a decent honor.

I'd throw Laviolette in the mix as well. Though I think Renney will win.

As for Vezina, I agree with Marty, it's Kipper all the way. I think he has a chance of being a Hart finalist. Though, I hope Thorton wins that.

Gotta Agree, Kipper deserves the Vezina. But nobody is talking about Legace and he has had a big year for the President Trophy Red Wings. He should be a finalist. Marty Brodeur's 40 wins should not be overlooked either.

Kiprusoff is the Vezina winner though as far as I am concerned.

I was very unsure of how Kiprusoff would fare over the course of a full season with a full compliment of games. He has proven me wrong and then some. He has been absolutely outstanding, and has won games that the Flames have had no business being in. He's a cool and calm customer, no matter what the situation, and should be in consideration for the Hart. It's been a treat to watch him over the course of the season.
