Fetzner and Brucks escape car wreck.

KAMLOOPS -- Neither Matt Fetzner nor Bryn Brucks was in the Portland Winter Hawks' lineup on Wednesday night when they met the Kamloops Blazers at Sport Mart Place.

But you can bet that both players were just happy to be able to watch the WHL game after being involved in a single-vehicle rollover north of Clinton early Wednesday morning.

Both players were wearing seatbelts and as a result were able to walk away without any injuries. The car wasn't as fortunate. Head coach Mike Williamson said the two rear tires and perhaps the seats might be salvageable.
