Pandolfo has twice previously been named Unsung Hero, 1998-99 and 2002-03. I think he could be a Rafy-type of player in that he has an immediate impact for the Devils once he starts playing. That being said, you don't throw a guy with no professional experience on the ice with a few games to go AND you're in the middle of a playoff race. He will get a very good look at next season's camp, and he could very well make the Devils. I am impressed that he was named best CCHA offensive-defenseman in 2004-05 and best CCHA defensive-defenseman in 2005-06. | ||
